EcoAmmo’s Impact

Since the very beginning we have been dedicated to lessening our environmental footprint - in our projects and in our own behaviours. Below are a few of these environmentally conscious highlights:

• EcoAmmo designed and built our own Net Zero Energy commercial office

• EcoAmmo’s projects have saved over approximately 161,000 tonnes of CO2 (equivalent to 34,000 passenger vehicles off the road or 18,600 average homes greenhouse gas emissions saved, or 196,548 flights from Edmonton to San Diego, USA)

• EcoAmmo’s projects have diverted over approximately 330,635,046 kg of waste from the landfill (equivalent to 14,293 full residential waste haul trucks)

• EcoAmmo’s projects have saved over approximately 164,491,698 litres of water (equivalent to yearly water use of 342 average households of four people or 66 Olympic-sized swimming pools)

• EcoAmmo has been paperless since inception and offsets our impacts from work travel 

• Participation in the City of Edmonton Climate Leaders Program

EcoAmmo’s future plans include reaching environmental goals of reducing 275,000 tonnes of CO2, diverting 575,000,000 kg of construction waste from landfill, saving 275,000 litres of water by 2030 and is working to be carbon neutral by 2021.
