EcoAmmo, A JUST Organization
EcoAmmo obtained its JUST Label in 2018 (and we are currently working on our renewal!).
JUST is a nutrition label for socially just and equitable organizations. To find out more check out their website.
Our purpose is to transition the world towards sustainability and we recognize this cannot be achieved without equity and inclusivity. We have a vision that all humans will be valued by who they are inside. As an organization that prioritizes mindfulness, we strive to be aware of our impact on ourselves, others and the environment. And we understand that there is a lot left to learn… unlearn… and do.
We are committed to continuously learning and are actively trying to:
1) participate in reconciliation through education from experts and elders
2) rid ourselves of our unconscious bias - we have developed a hiring process that removes reference to name, gender, ethnicity, etc. (want to know more? Reach out!)
